This open-air parking lot takes up the western side of the block, bordered to the northeast by a two-story dark gray brick building and southeast by a one-story beige brick building. This parking lot is surrounded by a chain-link fence, and the entrance proper is a gate in the fence, east of the corner; look for a blue sign attached to the fence at the corner of Patterson St NE and N Capitol St NW that reads "Welcome to Franklin Parking 2 Patterson St NE".
